Tunatic is a freeware app which allows you to analyzes what song is playing on your computer and gives you the artist and track title. Tunatic is the first search engine of its kind, identifying a song it “hears” through a Microphone.
Tunatic displays the song’s title within seconds, along with the name of the artist and many useful links to download the song, read the lyrics, buy the CD. Tunatic will change the way we listen to radio.
It’s a freeware app available for both Mac and Windows, it is only 500K in size and only take up 440KB of your computer space. To use this freeware app all you need is a microphone and Internet access.
When you are ready, simply play the sound and feed it in to Tunatic. Click the search button on Tunatic to get it to retrieve the song information from its database.
